Josh was born in India into a successful industrialist family. Raised by an astute and ethically-minded mother, Josh learned the importance of hard work at a very early age. Having moved to New Delhi, the capital of India, he started working with his mother, handling the import and export of health supplements from the US and Africa. Always keen to grow and explore new opportunities, Josh started his own business at the same time — an online flower boutique — that eventually became a franchise. However, his life as a businessman had only just begun. When Josh had his green card application approved, a new life awaited him in the US. On the advice of his mother who had lived in San Francisco many years earlier, Josh headed for the West Coast in search of new challenges.
Although Josh arrived in San Francisco with little more than a suitcase, he had a very clear vision of what he wanted to be. Real estate has always fascinated him and he immediately began studying, gained his license, and started work as a bay area real estate agent. That said, starting a business is hard enough at the best of times, and harder still when you’re in a new town in a new country — however, with the lessons in hard work that he’d learned from his mother, Josh soon began to create a name for himself. Having closed his first deal, he went on to have an extraordinarily successful debut year, even getting compared to agents who have been in the business for decades.
